自宅を出る時も、小雨が降っていた。これも練習だと思い、大泉緑地へ走る。少しでも汗をかけば、美味い晩酌にありつけると、脳みそが囁く。しかし濡れた舗装路は危険だ。コーナーに現れるマンホールを注意して避ける。
小雨は止まず、ヘルメットから滴り落ちている。蓮池に着いた。

嬉しいことに、一輪大きく蕾が膨らんでいた。付近にも小さな蕾が三つ恥ずかしそうに葉っぱの陰から覗いている。しかし池を一周するが、蕾が見られたのはここだけ。

帰宅しようとコーナーを回ると、事故か？

救急車に、消防車。釣り人が池に落ちたと思ったが、浮き輪を投げる救助訓練だった。

このサイトのブロガーにも、消防隊員がおられるが、普段は人目に付かない場所で特訓されているはず。頑張ってください。
